OHLC charts display the opening, high, low and closing prices for a security (for intraday charts, the closing price is taken to be the last price at which a transaction in a security took place).

  • The bottom of the vertical line shows the low price.
  • The short horizontal marker to the left of the vertical line shows the open price.
  • The short horizontal marker to the right of the vertical line shows the close price.
