When do Upgrades take effect?
If you upgrade to a more advanced plan, you will immediately be allocated the number of included SMS Elerts and Email Elerts as specified on the higher plan. However, the charge for upgrading will be calculated according to how much time is left before your next scheduled Bourse invoice is due to be issued.
The charge is calculated automatically as follows. If the next scheduled invoice date is:
- Less than 3 days away, then you will initially be invoiced NOTHING for the upgrade.
- Less than 16 days away, you will initially be invoiced for HALF the price of the new plan.
- Equal to or greater than 16 days away, you will be invoiced for the full price of the new plan.
Example: If your next invoice date is on the 17th and you:
- Upgrade on the 15th (less than 3 days away), you will be invoiced nothing for the new plan on the 15th. Then you will be invoiced the full price on the 17th and all following invoice dates.
- Upgrade on the 3rd (less than 16 days away), you will be invoiced half the price of the new plan on the 3rd. Then you will be invoiced the full price on the 17th and all following invoice dates.
- Upgrade on the 1st (more than 16 days away), you will be invoiced the full price for the new plan on the 1st. Then you will be invoiced the full price on the 17th and all following invoice dates.
When do Downgrades take effect?
If you downgrade to a lower plan, the change will take effect at the end of the current invoice period.
