Logging on for the First Time
You must use the HotSync facility to download the software from your personal computer to your handheld computing device (e.g. Palm Pilot) before following the procedures below. (See the operating manual for your handheld computing device for more information on this facility.)
When you are logging on for the first time you will need to enter your username, password and the Bourse Data server address. Your username and password are the same for Mobile Bourse as The Bourse application.
To Logon click the Menu icon on your PDA and select the LogOn menu item from the Bourse drop down menu

USE THE FOLLOWING SERVER DETAILS
The server names below will only work if you have the 'Query DNS' option un-ticked in your Palm Network settings and IP numbers have been entered for your ISP Domain Name Servers
Server IP: quotes1.boursedata.com.au OR quotes2.boursedata.com.au
Port: 8372
If this does not work then use the following IP address (this address may change):
Sever IP: 203.34.62.182
Port: 8372
Check the top of your device screen to see logon status. If you have not established your connection with your ISP, the device will start dialing. Make sure that you have your ISP account details entered.
- After completing the installation, click on the Applications icon (the little house) on your device.
- Click on The Bourse icon
- Click the ADD button to add a new security code to your Mobile Watch List. Type in the code (eg. BHP) and press OK.

- The Rpl button allows you to replace a code on the list with a new one.
- The Del button will delete a code from the list.
- To look at stocks in more detail, click on a code in the list to select it and select one of the function buttons.
- The Chart button will display a candlestick chart for the selected code (see example below).

- The Detl button will display more details for the selected code
