Back in record territory Aus shares 0.83% higher at noon
03 May 2018 – Market at Midday: Back in bull record territory with all sectors making gains. Better than expected eco news. NAB (ASX:NAB) reported its net profit fell 5.7% in the March 2018 quarter, compared to September 2017’s quarter, with NPAT hitting $2.58 billion. UBS says the bank’s results were subdued as revenue continues to slow. It flagged selling ‘reshaping’ wealth management by exiting its advice, platform, superannuation & asset management businesses under MLC. Iron ore price up 2.4% & ore future are up 2%. Bapcor (ASX:BAP) one of today’s top performers after it reiterated it’s on target for its full year NPAT guidance. Click for more news.
