China talks to extend weeks or months: ASX poised to open higher

29 Mar 2019 - Australian shares are poised to open higher this morning as shares on Wall Street closed higher. The China trade deal rumbles on as Kudlow says they are prepared to wait weeks or months. Meanwhile in the UK Prime Minister Theresa May will put her Brexit deal to a vote on Friday. The pound slumped. And Alliance Mineral Assets (ASX:A40) has said goodbye to their joint company secretary.

Pilbara Minerals charge higher today: ASX closes 0.7% higher

28 Mar 2019 - It has been a positive day of trade for the ASX. After dipping in the red this morning the local bourse managed to gain momentum and started to rise after lunchtime trade, and closed 0.7 per cent higher. Shares in Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) shot up over 10 per cent today as they announced commercial production is due to start at the Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project. And the Monadelphous Group (ASX:MND) been awarded a second construction contract, [...]
