Fleetwood (ASX:FWD) secures $17 million Pilbara contract

 

Modular accommodation provider, Fleetwood Corporation (ASX:FWD) has secured a $17 million contract for an iron ore accommodation village in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Pindan awarded the contract for the design, manufacture and supply of modular buildings for Rio Tinto’s Koodaideri iron ore accommodation village.

The deliverables are scheduled for completion by mid-2020.

Managing Director & CEO Brad Denison says “Fleetwood has a strong track record delivering mining accommodation in Western Australia and [is] pleased to expand [its] relationship with Pindan and Rio Tinto on this important project for the State”.

Shares in Fleetwood Corporation (ASX:FWD) closed 1 per cent higher at $2.02 yesterday.
