Flat finish for Friday: ASX200 25 points higher over week

24 Nov 2017 - Market Wrap: QBE (ASX:QBE) lost 1.1 per cent, while Westpac (ASX:WBC) fell the least, compared to the big banks. Virgin Australia (ASX:VAH) lost 5.6 per cent after the Government green lighted while Qantas (ASX:QAN) Asian Jetstar collaboration continue. Annuity specialist, Challenger (ASX:CGF) issued $400m of subordinated notes to qualify as Tier 2 APRA prudential standard capital.

Back pedal: Aus shares 0.27% lower at noon

24 Nov 2017 - Market at Midday: The Aussie share market slipped about 0.3 per cent today, erasing some of the week’s gains but still holding at 5 year highs.
